ZOLL Itamar's corporate headquarters, research and development and manufacturing are located in Israel with U.S. headquarters based in Atlanta, GA.Job TypeOn Site - Atlanta, GA (Vinings area)Job SummaryThe Human Resources Generalist provides support to divisional employees in the areas of employee relations, talent development, performance management, retention, disciplinary actions and compensation administration. They will also serve as designated front-line point HR member for employee questions regarding policies, practices, and programs as well as employee questions regarding payroll and benefits. Ensure corporate and departmental HR policies and practices are communicated and understood and compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations is maintained understood and adhered to.Essential Functions

  • At the direction of HR management supports with aspects of employee relations including investigations, documentation and problem solving.

  • Interpret HR policies and procedures for employees and managers and make recommendations to HR Manager for potential improvements.

  • Comply with federal, state and local employment laws.

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of various training and development presentations to employees.

  • Provide administrative support with company Unemployment program

  • Provide HRIS back up support as needed.

  • May administer or provide back up to other HR staff in the area of Leave of Administration (FMLA process, ADA accommodations, STD/LTD and WC processes).

  • Conduct new employee orientations, employee relations counseling, Employee surveys and exit interviews.

  • Support management with regulatory reporting requirements (OSHA, EEO/AAP, etc.).

  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of the HR department.

  • Works on special projects relating to the development/modification of HR programs and procedures.

  • Responding to employees' HR-related inquiries.

  • Provide HR guidance to ZOLL employees and management team on a variety of HR- and business-related items that require sound HR practices and perspectives.

  • Partner with Human Resources colleagues on employee relations and performance management issues and seek legal guidance when necessary.

  • At the request of HR management prepares special reports

  • Analyze and summarize information and trends, such as Sales hires, employee turnover and OSHA documentation

  • Comply with all policies and standards.

  • Work with Talent Acquisition Partner to assist in scheduling interviews and recruiting efforts as needed

  • Any other job responsibilities as assigned by management and subject to modification.

  • Lead special projects to support as needed.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, organizational development or related field required. required

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Human Resources with Generalist responsibility preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Functional expertise supporting Sales team and Operations.

  • Demonstrated project and time management skills, with an ability to set and maintain priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in State and Federal Labor Law, Compliance.

  • Expertise in organizational development, organizational structure, and change management.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in short time frames.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to make good decisions quickly

  • Highly results oriented.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)

  • Experience working globally a plus

  • Prior experience with Workday a plus

  • HR competencies and knowledge in payroll, employee relations, recruiting, compensation/benefits administration and compliance.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment; flexible, supportive and adaptive to changes in direction, priorities and job duties.

  • Someone who is a quick learner and has a positive attitude.
