Robert Half Inventory Clerk in Atlanta, Georgia

Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is based within the Medical Devices industry, where you will be handling the inventory tracking and management. The work environment will be dynamic, fast-paced, and requires an individual who is comfortable with Salesforce and MFG (inventory management system) and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the process of order placements and ensure accurate tracking of shipments.

• Maintain an organized and efficient inventory system by regularly updating and maintaining accurate records.

• Create and manage reports related to inventory and order tracking.

• Work in collaboration with the sales team, management, and customers to ensure smooth order processing and shipment tracking.

• Handle shipping challenges and coordinate with the shipper and customer to find solutions.

• Use Salesforce and MFG to process orders and returns for the lab.

• Assist in daily operations as needed and requested, maintaining flexibility in the face of changing priorities.

• Create shipping labels using shipping software systems and ensure correct product scanning and shipping.

• Uphold safety, OSHA, HAZMAT, and security procedures, reporting any potentially unsafe conditions.

• Occasionally lift and pack boxes and orders as part of the inventory management process.

• Facilitate regular inventory counts and generate inventory reports for management review. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Cerner Technologies

• Knowledge of Epic Software is necessary

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proficiency in ERP Solutions

• Experience with About Time software

• Capable of answering inbound calls professionally and efficiently

• Proven experience in auditing

• Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs

• Experience performing clerical duties in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with the medical devices industry

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
