UL, LLC IT Manager - Oracle HCM in Atlanta, Georgia

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM IT Manager to join our UL Solutions team. The Manager of HCM is responsible for providing leadership in the design, implementation, administration and support of Oracle HCM, Cloud OTL and Oracle eBusiness HR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle HCM applications, eBusiness HR and experience leading a global team. This individual will report to the Director of Strategic Support and will lead the core team responsible for ensuring that Oracle HCM operates optimally and continues to meet the evolving needs of the business globally.

  • Lead, mentor and foster a collaborative global team responsible for the HCM applications.

  • Lead the planning and implementation of system enhancements and projects to improve functionality, efficiency, and user experience.

  • Oversee the timely resolution of all Oracle HCM system incidents and requests, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

  • Manage regular system maintenance activities related to quarterly releases and configuration changes, minimizing disruptions to users.

  • Ensure the Oracle HCM system adheres to all relevant regulatory and security requirements such as SOX and GDPR.

  • Partner with the technical team expertise for solution development and application integration for the Oracle Cloud ERP implementation.

  • Be a key strategic business partner to HR to drive their roadmap and demand through design and prioritization of solutions.

  • 7+ years of experience in Oracle HCM, with a deep understanding of core HR processes.

  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams.

  • Expertise in the Core HR, Recruitment (ORC), Talent Management, Compensation, Absence Management and OTL modules.

  • A basic understanding of handling HDL, HSDL, HCM Extract, BIP, OTBI, and HCM data models and tables is preferable.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards about the Cloud.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex HCM system implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards pertaining to Cloud.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.

  • Oracle HCM certification(s) is a plus.
