Job Title: Landfill Gas Foreman

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Landfill Gas Foreman with 3-5 years of landfill Non-routine and O&M experience. This full-time position will travel within the southeast, and all outdoor landfill environments.. The successful candidate will perform various maintenance and repair tasks for Gas Collection & Control System (GCCS) on various landfills and project sites, including pump repair, well/flare maintenance, and field monitoring of landfill gas wells and systems using an Envisions gas meter. Additional responsibilities include performing flare maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical panels, providing upkeep of monitoring equipment, and assisting Regional Project Manager and landfill gas techs as needed. The role also involves performing non-routine tasks such as raising wells, completing flare maintenance activities, adjusting and tuning wells, conducting surface scanning, tracking data from the field on an iPad or MESA tablet, and following all company safety procedures and policies.

Hard Skills

• 5+ years experience in a landfill gas environment

• Experience with Excel, writing reports, or data management

• Experience with pipe fusion and laying HDPE pipe is a plus

• Pump and flare maintenance/service

Soft Skills

• Safety-oriented

• Ability to communicate effectively with on-site staff and customers

• Ability to perform both field and office work

Work Environment

M-F typically at various landfill sites, home on the weekends. 40 hours typically, 50 hours max. Travel required, with departures on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning and returns on Friday afternoon. Sites mainly in GA, with some in FL, SC, and AL.
