How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
As a Maintenance Utility Employee (MUE 1) in a motorized role, you will be a part of Delta's Ground Support Equipment (GSE) team. The MUE (Motorized) supports motorized mechanics to help service and ensure timely repairs. The MUE maintains the physical condition and upkeep of vehicle/heavy equipment to ensure compliance with all Delta policies while promoting a safe work environment.
Summary of responsibilities:
Ensure an organized and safe workspace following maintenance activities, including floor care, parts sortation, and proper material disposal.
Maintain shop and facility cleanliness, utilizing appropriate resources and equipment.
Transportation and procurement of parts.
Provide support for designated activities by collaborating with team members and partnering with Ground Support Equipment roles to assist in completing a task.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be proficient in English.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 70 pounds.
Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Strong communication while working as a team and coordinating tasks with GSE leaders, fellow team members, and outside vendors.
Respond to customers' needs with minimum direction and perform repairs in time-sensitive situations.

Starting pay: $19.00 per hour
