ABM Industries Regional Painter in Atlanta, Georgia
ABM is looking for a Regional Painter for the Atlanta area! The Regional Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to these surfaces. Duties include, but are not limited to, cutting, removing/replacing fixtures, and maintaining inventory of paint brushes, and other supplies. The Painter also will mix, match and apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces.

Essential Functions:
Must be experienced with paint prep, brush, and roller work, working with spray guns/airless and all aspects of painting.
Must be comfortable working on a ladder as needed.
Must have a good attitude and be comfortable taking direction from Supervisor and Managers.
Able to lead Assistant painter and assign projects to the team.
Meets daily with Painter assistant to set priorities of the day.
Keeps job site neat and clean at all times.
Handles all job site requirements timely.
Adheres to the Able policies and procedures manual.
Maintains a professional, yet friendly demeanor.
Must adhere to the company uniform policy during working hours at all projects.
Arrives to work on time, follows directions, interacts well with coworkers.
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Operational managers
Painting with (brushes, roller handles, buckets, pans, spray gun).
Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and be alert to hazards.
Previous exterior painting experience at least 5yrs.
Physical ability to bend, stretch, stand, climb stairs
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness and ability to work overtime if necessary.
Willingness and ability to travel to different job sites daily.
Qualifications:
Proven maintenance experience
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary
Strong organizational and follow up skills
Eye for detail
Professional presentation and attitude
Ability to maintain focus while working individually
Strong time management skills
