Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for applications.

• Define automation strategies and develop tools for unit, functional, and performance testing.

• Participate in design/code reviews and propose process improvements.

• Build and maintain automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

• Support agile development teams by contributing to continuous integration processes.

Candidate needs to have:

• Experience in IT with expertise in test automation for UI and API layers.

• Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests using Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, and open-source tools like Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured.

• Strong understanding of OOP languages (Java, C#) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).

• Experience with API and microservices testing and automation.

• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber and JBehave.

• Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

• Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes).

• Hands-on experience in automating backend REST services using Postman, Karate, Cypress, or Ready API.

• Familiarity with building modular automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM).

• Experience working in agile environments (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe).

• Skilled in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI) and source code management (GitLab, GitHub).

• Ability to create test reports using tools like Cucumber and Extent Reports.

• Infrastructure automation using Docker, Chef, Puppet, Terraform.

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CodePipeline, CloudFormation).

• Service virtualization using tools like WireMock and Mockito.

• Knowledge of test management tools (VersionOne, qTest).

• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, OpenShift).

• Non-functional testing expertise (performance, load, stress, security).
