Our Supply Chain Team is seeking a Production/Blending Coordinator to join our Attapulgus, GA facility. This role also involves supporting our other manufacturing sites and affiliated warehouses in a similar capacity.
As a Production/Blending Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating uniquely tailored blends to meet the diverse requirements of Refining Catalysts' global customers. You will collaborate closely with the Quality Department across various sites and Product Management to address specific needs. Additionally, you will engage daily with the Logistics Coordinator to maintain and coordinate schedules, ensuring that the Operations Team has the necessary information and documentation.

Prioritizing personal accountability and maintaining a strong focus on safety for all members of the Logistics Department.
Ensuring that management safety behaviors and objectives are consistently met.
Monitoring inventories of all component materials to maintain adequate levels for blending activities.
Communicating and escalate any availability issues to Material Planners, Production Planners, and supervisors as needed.
Leading and coordinating blending activities at both strategic and tactical levels. Strategically, ensuring that Product Management’s requirements for blend compositions and each customer are met. Tactically, ensure that preliminary blends are completed in a timely manner to schedule shipping equipment.
Ensuring that blend compositions account for quality variances, component availability issues, and logistical requirements within the shipping schedule.
Issuing daily work instructions detailing blending and shipping plans, and provide off-shift guidance for shift coordinators and operators.
If you...
Have High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree required.
Possess at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing / research and development / quality environment required.
Are experienced in the Refining Industry, preferred.
Hold the ability to work independently under broad goals and objectives with minimal guidance. Along with, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Have demonstrated leadership skills with focus on relationship building and strong interpersonal skills.
Have knowledge or Proficient with SAP PPM, MS Office, and other CMMS preferred
