Bridgeway Diagnostic Receptionist and Closer in Auburn, Alabama
1.Check in and Arrive patients in a timely and accurate manner. 2.Responsible for accurate data input of patient demographic and billing information in RIS. 3.Scan government issued photo ID and insurance cards into RIS. 4.Collect co-pays and/or deductibles due on test scheduled and records appropriately in RIS and on the daily deposit log. Apply and take payment for Care Credit. 5.Update patient information such as address, contact number(s), and Insurance 6.Assist patients to their exam area when needed. 7.Prepare CDs for patients and referring physicians upon request. 8.Documents arrival and departure of outside CDs. 9.Answer telephone by appropriately identifying self, uses professional telephone etiquette, and relays messages in a timely manner. 10. Schedule appointments for walk in patients to coordinate with other patient examinations and makes all efforts to minimize any errors in scheduling. 11.Obtain all pertinent patient demographic information when scheduling appointments. 12.Confirm assigned modality 2 days in advance, collect amount, and explain exam preparation. 13.Print out arrival forms for patients scheduled the next day. 14.Reschedule patient appointments as needed. 15.Document patient notes appropriately in RIS. 16.Prepare or approve daily payment log for deposit and distribute to assigned recipients. 17.Keep laundry emptied in exam rooms, bathrooms stocked, sanitized, and cleaned. Including toilet, sink, floor, and mirror. Keep breakroom counters, table, and refrigerator clean. Take trash out regularly, this includes the large trashcan outside. 18.Make sure doors are locked, secure building, walk out with last employee leaving the building. Note: Two or more employees must walk out together at closing. No employee is to be left in the building alone.
