Bridgeway Diagnostic Scheduling - inbound calls in Auburn, Alabama

1.Answer telephone by appropriately identifying self, uses professional telephone etiquette, and relays messages in a timely manner. 2.Schedule patient appointments to coordinate with other patient examinations and makes all efforts to minimize any errors in scheduling. 3.Obtain all pertinent patient demographic information when scheduling appointments. 4.Confirm patient appointments and inform patient of the estimated collect amount, if any. 5.Maintain appropriate clinical knowjedge about exams and procedures to ensure that scheduling and other job functions are handled appropriately 6.Explain exam preparation to patients in terms they can understand or defers additional questions to the technical staff. 7. Reschedule patient appointments as needed. 8. Document patient notes appropriately in RIS. 9. Can ordering physician to get order and clinical faxed if needed. 10. Fax reports when requested 11. Print reports to email 12. Email patient final reports if consent form is signed. 13. Check emails frequently, Send emails when needed 14. Assist patients with Care Credit applications when needed 15. Scan in approval or declined applications in patients chart 16. Log Care Credit applications/ add copy to Care Credit notebook 17. When getting a phone order from Dr. Obiekwes office 18. - Order patients exam in RIS 19. - fill out order form with all of patients information, what exam is needed, diagnosis and 20. who you spoke with. 21. Perform other general office tasks such as laundry, maintenance of office supplies and equipment, etc.. 22. Clean and straighten up reception area, lobby and bathrooms. 23. Confirm assigned modality 2 days in advance and explain exam preparation. 24. Make suggestions to supervisor regarding processes, in order to find increasingly efficient ways to perform tasks and works with management to improve areas as needed 25. Keep laundry emptied in exam rooms, bathrooms stocked, sanitized, and cleaned. Including toilet, sink, floor, and mirror. Keep breakroom counters, table, and refrigerator clean. Take trash out regularly, this includes the large trashcan outside.
