The Business Analyst supports strategic decision-making within the supply chain by providing financial analysis, developing models, overseeing budgets, and using data analytics to optimise operations. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives and managing Master Data across all sites.
What You’ll Do:
Inventory Management and Master Data
Maintain all Item, BOM, and Routing master data across APAC systems, ensuring alignment with the PLM Inventory Management system. Conduct weekly reviews and submit Production Order Variance reports, analyzing variances and reporting to the Manager. Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory risks and inform the Finance team for required provisions.
Financial Modelling and Forecasting
Produce reports for the APAC manufacturing leadership team, ensuring KPIs are updated and demand and capacity are balanced. Capture production forecast loads in the ERP and capacity planning tool, improving the process. Analyse production data and price data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Budget Management
Own the Production Conversion Cost process, ensuring supply cost increases are captured and minimised. Oversee and analyse budgets, ensuring accurate resource allocation and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for adjustments using tools like Power BI.
Financial Reporting
Support the Finance Commercial Manager in producing detailed financial reports for stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Manage inventory, safety stock, risks and slobs.
General
Work closely with sales and planning teams to maximize machine uptime and achieve operational and sales goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize supply chain performance. Act as a subject matter expert during operating system upgrades to ensure Master Data integrity.
What You Bring to the Table:
A degree and/or qualification(s) in Finance, Supply Chain or a related field.
Previous experience as a BA for Finance Partner within FMCG, Supply Chain or Logistics
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Microsoft BC) is desirable
Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Power Query, Power Automate, and other data analysis tools
Strong experience with Power BI or Power View for data visualisation and reporting
Sound knowledge of data warehousing and data management practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
The ability to analyse and process high volumes of data and documentation, on a daily basis.
