Superior Contracting & Maintenance, a reputable construction company, is seeking a skilled Chimney Sweep & Fireplace Contractor to join our team. As a Chimney Sweep & Fireplace Contractor, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and repairing chimneys and fireplaces in residential properties. You will utilize your expertise in chimney and fireplace systems to ensure the safety and functionality of these structures.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect chimneys and fireplaces to assess their condition and identify any issues or potential hazards.

  • Perform chimney sweeps to remove creosote, soot, or debris.

  • Repair or replace chimney liners, caps, and dampers as needed.

  • Install new chimney liners and perform necessary repairs or modifications.

  • Provide recommendations to clients regarding maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and follow proper procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, cleanings, and repairs.

  • Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Maintain accurate records of all work orders, materials, and time spent on each job on provided portal

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • General Liability Preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chimney Sweep or Fireplace Contractor

  • In-depth knowledge of chimney and fireplace systems

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Basic carpentry and masonry knowledge

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Relevant certifications are a plus

  • Living currently in the US
