Project Manager
Description
Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles,
snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron
Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf
courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute targeted projects and initiatives to drive improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction into thebusiness at an accelerated pace.
Influence strategy and lead organizational turnaround projects and campaigns tied to new product development, materialavailability, quality, manufacturing and logistical efficiencies, process and system improvements, and supply base maturity.
Measure/track performance while developing individual and team capability in a matrixed environment.
Analyze current business state with regards to TSV products, engineering, manufacturing and operations, with theforesight to propel our organization and establish long-term success.
Leverage common best-practice processes and establish benchmarking activities to achieve improved planning, visibility,performance, and effectiveness.
Use agreed-upon and defined stage gate process to guide all project activities and milestone signoff and manage projecttiming, goals, and budget.
Coordinate with stakeholders on planning activities to ensure needs are understood and incorporated into the project.
Create and maintain written reports on project status, tests, costs, issues, performance to established targets, and timelines on a regular basis
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required
Years of Experience: P2 -2 or more years of experience in related field required/P3 - 4 or more years of experiencerequired in a related field
Software Knowledge: SAP, Microsoft office applications, intermediate to advanced skills in lifecycle management software
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in negotiation strategies and tactics, communication, organization, and timemanagement skills
PMP certification through Project Management Institute preferred
