Contract Specialist in Augusta, ME

Overview

Provide an overview of the work, briefly summarizing the job, the main purpose, the objectives, and the results expected.

DCM provides contract administration for all DHHS contracts. DCM assists in all aspects of the contract process through encumbrance as well as issuing provider payments made against it. The goal is to ensure the department is staffed at a level that is conducive with timely contract processing and payments.

Knowledge, Skills and Certifications

• Customer service experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products

• Experience with contract development/oversight

Duties and Deliverables – Outline of specific job duties:

• Work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders to develop and refine contract language.

• Review, verify and analyze contract financial and compliance components.

• Utilize standard operating procedures and tracking systems to ensure adherence to

requirements while moving agreements through the state contracting process.

• Other duties as assigned

• Resource will not manage any contract in which PCG or SSO is a party

Schedule

Hours: Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm (30 minute lunch).

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
