Oracle Global Sales Activation Director in Augusta, Maine

Job Description

This is an internal-facing technical sales solution development role focused on enabling field and telesales reps to increase prospecting effectiveness and opportunity progression.

Responsibilities

Primary activities of the role include:

  • Curate, review, and package Oracle sales enablement and activation material into simpler, easier to leverage tools for day to day selling tasks

  • Engage with Product Management and Product Marketing to contribute inbound and outbound content for curation to sales channels

  • Deliver to and enable/train field sales personnel around the globe to leverage Oracle sales assets

  • Hold customer conversations around business and industry challenges

  • Support deal qualification and progression, territory and industry analysis, and deliver Oracle’s view, value, and differentiators

  • Assist in articulating product messaging, coordinates sales & technical resources

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, alliances, strategic account/partner management and/or channels, including structuring, negotiating and closing complex deals, and working effectively with legal teams.

  • 5+ years of experience in on-premises and cloud technology and solutions, infrastructure, enterprise software, industry-specific solutions, artificial intelligence and SaaS. Previous experience and familiarity with Oracle's portfolio is a strong plus in this regard.

  • Sales-focused (understanding sales objectives and methodology while working in a Business Development or partner program role).

  • Experience working closely with product and marketing organizations.

  • Strong leadership, administration, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to effectively network and communicate with different types and levels of staff and external contacts, both in writing and verbally.

  • Ability to build trust broadly across the organization and with partners

  • Ability to manage interactions and influence without authority, including at the C-level.

  • Demonstrated aggressive, persuasive, and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Speaking multiple languages is a plus in this global role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $118,700 to $251,600 per annum. null

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
