Humana Organization Effectiveness Lead, Training Operations in Augusta, Maine

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our training programs, intake process, and process improvement initiatives while leveraging data analytics to drive decision-making and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, instructional design, process optimization, and data analysis. This role will oversee the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and learner needs through effective use of data. Additionally, this person will lead team members to drive the day-to-day process of programs, projects and/or tools to keep various levels of management informed of project status and health, manage all logistical and implementation support associated with programs and define and measure post-implementation results to determine ROI as well as internal customer and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Oversight:
• Manage the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training programs across multiple disciplines.
• Partner with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics and feedback, and implement improvements as needed.
- Intake Process Management:
• Oversee and refine the intake process for training requests and program development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs, prioritize projects, and allocate resources effectively.
• Establish and maintain clear communication channels with internal and external partners.
- Process Improvement:
• Analyze existing training and intake processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process enhancements to streamline operations, improve learner experiences, and increase program impact.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends to inform process innovations.
- Data Analytics and Reporting:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to training effectiveness, learner engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making, optimize programs, and enhance process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
• Lead a team of training professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
• Foster a collaborative environment to promote knowledge sharing and innovation within the team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership regarding training program updates, data analytics, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, training, organizational development, data analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in training program management, instructional design, and/or facilitation
2+ years of experience leading a team
Proven track record in process improvement, program development, and data analytics.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in training technologies and tools (e.g., LMS platforms, eLearning development software
Expertise in program management technologies and tools (e.g. MS Project
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification is a plus.
Expertise in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with statistical analysis techniques.
Experience with data-driven decision-making and change management.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,000 - $143,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
