DXC Technology Director of Operations and Program Management in Austin, Texas

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Director of Operations and Program Management to oversee the successful execution of the OASIS program, with a focus on driving schedules, structure, communication, and leadership. This critical leadership role reports directly to the VP of Global Infrastructure Services and ensures the program’s alignment with DXC Technology’s strategic objectives in Security, Cloud, and Modern Workplace solutions. The role will also act as a primary point of contact for our technology, research and user experience partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Schedule and Structure Management
Provide strategic leadership for the OASIS program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving program-level outcomes through cross-functional collaboration and oversight.
Define, implement, and monitor program schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Manage resources and dependencies across teams to ensure program success.
2. Program Oversight
Oversee all aspects of the OASIS program, focusing on structured execution and delivery aligned with business objectives.
Coordinate detailed program plans and schedules, managing resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to maintain program momentum and success.
3. Operational Efficiency
Implement and refine operational processes to optimize performance and scalability.
Leverage analytics and feedback to drive continuous improvement in program workflows.
Report on key performance metrics, aligning progress with organizational goals.
4. Stakeholder Coordination and Communication
Act as the central point of contact for the OASIS program, ensuring clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.
Serve as the primary liaison for technology partners and user experience agencies, facilitating alignment and collaboration.
Present detailed program updates, status reports, and insights to senior leadership.
Foster strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders to drive program success.
5. Leadership and Alignment with Strategic Goals
Support the overall product strategy and roadmap for the OASIS platform by ensuring structured and timely program execution.
Align technical architecture and product requirements with DXC’s business objectives through meticulous planning and scheduling.
Demonstrate strong leadership by guiding cross-functional teams and promoting AI-driven and customer-centric practices in program execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in program management or operations roles, preferably in the technology or IT services industry.
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex schedules and structured workflows.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and platform engineering.
Experience with AI-driven or automation initiatives, or a strong interest in leveraging these technologies for operational and program improvements.
Familiarity with integrating AI or automation tools into enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to act as a liaison with external partners and agencies.
Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira, MS Project).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of precision.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $132,500 - $275,300.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
