Job Summary
Work Shift:6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday)
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain continuous operation of automation and robotic systems.
- Adjust, repair, replace, or modify system components as needed.
Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Identify machine malfunctions and isolate failure mechanisms.
Preventative Maintenance:
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on robotic and process support equipment.
- Perform calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment.
Collaboration:
- Work with the automation team on the qualification of automated systems.
- Assist engineers in developing hardware and software for automation solutions.
Equipment Inspection:
- Disassemble instruments and inspect components for defects.
- Align, repair, replace, and balance component parts and circuitry.
Testing and Evaluation:
- Assist in formulating test, calibration, repair, and evaluation plans.
- Utilize testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Installation Support:
- Help process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience with material handling, automation, and robotics.
- Proficiency in electronic assembly, including schematics and PCB loading.
- Skills in cable assembly, crimping, soldering, and harness assembly.
- Familiarity with machine operations and mechanical/electrical tools.
