Aerotek is hiring a Maintenance Engineer in Central Austin

Job Description

The Facilities Maintenance Tech complies with OSHA and responds to emergency situations to ensure employee, patient, and facility safety. Candidates will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of the hospital equipment and building components. With little supervision, the candidates will diagnose mechanical problems, offer solutions, and act to ensure the safety, care, and comfort of the staff and patients. Professionalism, appearance, and workmanship are key. The role requires working Monday to Friday and rotating weekends. This is a 24/7 facility, so candidates could work a lot of overtime, up to 6-7 days a week, if the facility becomes short-staffed. The position operates with a 4-man crew running the facility. Candidates need to be able to work either 8 AM-4 PM or 12 AM-9 PM. Schedules will be known in advance.
