ROLE DESCRIPTION/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: (Material Coordinator) works independently and provides support to the manufacturing floor, ensuring hardware kits are in stock and available. They are responsible for pulling and staging material, delivering work kits to workstations based on job requirements, keep materials and processesflowing to meet production needs, maintains accurate records of on-premises materials/inventory and assisting in overall warehouse organization, inspection and store new material, and other functions as required or needed. This position requires a non-climate-controlled environment and will be subject to environmental elements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:

Maintain and promote safe working habits and clean work area (6S-Lean Manufacturing). Pull and kit per work order requirements and support raw material fulfillment for production. Manage non-conforming material received from vendor. Stock inventory into assigned locations. Weigh, count, and determine stock locations for new items. Maximize the use of available storage space by consolidating materials as necessary and rearranging inventory throughout the hardware room as needed. Maintain inventory value and location integrity by ensuring all material is placed in their proper locations. Perform cycle counts and be proactive with inventory reconciliation to assure inventory accuracy and document results. Enter product transfers and maintain accurate inventory counts within the database. Respond to personnel regarding stock inquiries. Investigate inventory discrepancies, including problem solving for serious and repetitive issues. Clean and organize the hardware room, maintain a clean (6S) work environment throughout the facility. Handle material and parts in accordance with Quality Management System procedures. Identify cost reduction and productivity improvements to Lead or Department Supervisor. Perform other jobs or functions assigned by upper management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Essential physical requirements pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following: Strength (Heavy)- Exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Movement- climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, twisting, bending Auditory- talking and hearing Vision-near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, color vision, field of vision Environment conditions and physical surroundings-noise, vibration, atmospheric conditions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following: High School Diploma or GED, in addition to. a minimum of two (2) years of consistent working experience. Related experience a plus. Must be committed, coachable, and aware.
