Administers state and federal maritime grant programs and projects. Conducts project management review, oversight and compliancemonitoring of complex applications, grant agreements, procurements, reimbursements, audits and administrative requirements todetermine compliance with federal and state requirements, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Work requires contact withdepartmental managers, high-level executives, governmental officials and/or private entities. Employees at this level establishtheir own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives under direction from their supervisor.. Essential Duties:Project Coordinator ICollaborates with program staff to provide technical assistance on program requirements to government agencies, transitproviders, community organizations and the general public.Assists with developing contract requirements or specifications in support of maritime programs or projects.Assists with or performs administration of federal and state maritime grants funding, and planning programs and projects.Analyzes complex applications, grant agreements, procurements, reimbursements, audits and administrative requirements.Assists with planning, developing and recommending program guidelines, policies, procedures enhancements andmethodologies.Stays abreast of transportation industry changes and requirements, policies, procedures and legislation.Writes internal/external correspondence/reports/lists/forms/updates/memos concerning programs and projects.Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.Project Coordinator IIActs as district or division liaison in area of expertise.Performs complex administration of federal and state maritime grants, funding and planning programs and projects,Prepares and analyzes advanced applications and prepares and makes recommendations on program funding; reviews andrecommends contracts/grants/projects/programs/lettings.Plans, develops and recommends program guidelines, policies, procedures, enhancements and methodologies.Stays abreast of transportation industry changes and requirements, policies, procedures and legislation.Writes internal/external correspondence/reports/lists/forms/updates/memos concerning programs and projects.Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
