Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's team in the dynamic industry located in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, managing cash resources, and providing guidance to entry level accounting staff. This opportunity offers an exciting chance to contribute to our team's growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Oversee global cash management activities on a weekly basis

• Reconcile monthly credit card transactions across all regions

• Approve invoice submissions prepared by entry level accounting staff

• Lead the management of global prepaids and accruals

• Prepare financial reporting decks for operations worldwide

• Conduct regular reconciliations of key and non-key balance sheet accounts across all regions

• Provide necessary support for global audit processes

• Contribute to the detail oriented development of entry level accounting staff

• Spearhead process improvement initiatives within the NetSuite platform

• Participate in the creation and maintenance of written policies and procedures

• Undertake additional duties and global projects as needed.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential

• Demonstrable experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is mandatory

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is a must

• Practical knowledge of General Ledger management is expected

• Experience in Journal Entries is required

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Experience in Month End Close tasks is mandatory

• Familiarity with NetSuite software is a must

• Knowledge of Oracle systems is essential

• Experience with SAP software is a prerequisite
