Content Creation and Distribution: Develops, creates, and curates original content for the official social media channels of the National Disability Center for Student Success. Produces unique and engaging written, visual, multimedia posts and stories for multiple platforms. Posts scheduled content on a 3 times a week basis and ensures it is error free and on time.Audience Engagement: Interacts with social media audiences and responds to social media messages, inquiries, and comments as directed. Proactively seek opportunities for partnerships and cross-promotion.Stays up to date with the latest social media trends and emerging platforms.Collaboration: Collaborates frequently with students and leadership team to develop visual and multimedia assets for social media marketing campaigns. Builds relationships with social media staff across campus to promote cross-collaboration on university-wide campaigns. Proactively seek opportunities for social media collaborations with higher education/disability groups to build the National Disability Center Communications Network.Media: Coordinate press releases, media kits, and outreach materials. Identify and engage with relevant media outlets, and higher education/disability groups.Metrics: Tracks performance of assigned campaigns or channels. Generates analytics reports and provides recommendations to improve visibility and reach.Other related functions as assigned.
