Job Description Summary
This role will lead the Industrial Services Practice Group for Project & Development Services (PDS) in Texas, with a strong focus on capital project management and industrial construction. The position will partner with PDS Platform and Regional Leadership to develop and implement the strategic direction for the delivery of capital projects within the Industrial Practice Group. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor for industrial capital programs, overseeing business development and operational planning within Texas and the larger southern region. Additionally, the role will act as a liaison between other Cushman & Wakefield service lines, third-party partners, and clients, ensuring seamless integration and successful project execution.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project & Construction Leadership : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of industrial capital projects, ensuring alignment with best practices in project management, construction execution, and risk mitigation.
Industrial Project Management Expertise : Lead and advise on complex industrial construction projects across sectors such as Data Centers, Battery Manufacturing, Automotive, Intermodal/Ports, Food Distribution/Storage, and High-Tech Manufacturing.
Business Development & Growth : Drive business development efforts for industrial capital construction and project management services, generating leads and converting opportunities into revenue growth.
Proposal & RFP Development : Lead the development of RFP responses, project proposals, pricing models, and fee structures tailored for industrial clients.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with developers, corporate occupiers, and industrial investors, serving as the primary point of contact for capital project delivery solutions.
Resource & Talent Development : Identify and recruit specialized project managers and construction professionals to fill resource gaps within key markets and accounts.
Risk Management & Compliance : Establish and implement quality assurance processes, risk mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance standards for industrial capital projects.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with Cushman & Wakefield's Brokerage, Asset Services, and Advisory teams to integrate project management solutions into broader real estate strategies.
Project Controls & Operational Excellence : Support PDS leadership in refining project governance models, cost controls, and reporting frameworks for large-scale industrial developments.
Thought Leadership & Industry Trends : Lead the development of white papers, case studies, and best practices that showcase industrial project expertise and innovation.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Advanced degrees, General Contractors license, Project Management Institute PMP designation and LEED certified are desirable.
10+ years of Design and Construction experience in the industrial industry.
Knowledge and application of a disciplined Project Management process (Six Sigma desirable).
Demonstrated significant previous industry experience managing industrial projects varying in size and complexity including strategic planning, entitlements management, development, re-development, building renovations and interior improvements.
Experience in collaborating and supporting real estate transactions generally associated with industrial projects.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $182,750.00 - $215,000.00
