TEKsystems Workforce Development Specialist in Austin, Texas
Description
-Will facilitate training sessions utilizing a facilitator guide (they wont need to create anything) + teaching emotional intelligence
-Provide consulting and guidance to cross-functional partners on best practices for presenting and facilitating effective presentations and training.
-Will conduct new hire orientation
-Assist with project management processes to successfully deliver learning and development programs.
-80% Facilitation and 20% Administration
As the L&D Specialist, you should have strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders. Training & Facilitation
-Develop and deliver the new hire onboarding program, including feedback loops, mentoring programs, leadership development training, professional development training, on-the-job training, and job
-Develop and conduct job-focused new hire orientation and training for staff, including creating training procedures, workbooks, knowledge checks, job aids, professional slide decks, and additional study resources. Continuously analyze the effectiveness of
-Assess training programs within the LMS to ensure they enhance employee knowledge, skills, and abilities for their current
-Schedule, coordinate, and prepare training/development activities and programs (onsite, remote, & hybrid).
-Provide consulting and guidance to cross-functional partners on best practices for presenting and facilitating effective presentations and training, as
-Assist with project management processes, including project execution to successfully deliver learning and development programs and processes.
-Content & Resource Development and Compliance
-Assist the Instructional Designer in creating dynamic learning and development resources to meet individual employee learning styles & schedules (microlearning, asynchronous resources, video, audio, etc.).
-Regularly review and revise resources to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the current needs of the employee and organization.
-Track and record training activities and prepare training reports and metrics for the AVP Experience & Engagement, as requested.
-Remain current with policies, procedures, technologies, current practices, and stay abreast of emerging trends in adult learning to ensure consistency of best practices in educational and developmental programs.
-Monitor and update materials, as needed, to ensure compliance with current processes, procedures, regulatory guidelines, and adult learning best practices to ensure training accuracy and effectiveness.
-Business Acumen
-Develop an understanding of stakeholder needs for training and work to design and develop necessary facilitation strategies and pivot, as necessary.
-Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for education and training by collaborating with other departments to ensure timely information exchange, positive interaction and minimal negative impact.
-Leverage available data and field feedback to track education-related trends and collaborate with the AVP Learning & Development to determine appropriate corrective action, as needed.
-Administrative Support
-Oversee learning systems to ensure LMS and KMS content remains accurate and up-to-date. This includes:
-Uploading and archiving training content within the LMS in accordance with department standards
-Performing routine user testing to identify errors
-Enrolling learners in training sessions and updating learner transcripts in the LMS
-Posting relevant news, events, and updates on the intranet home page
-Uploading, editing, and maintaining policy and procedure information in the KMS
-Regularly retrieve, compile, and analyze LMS and KMS data to provide insight on issues, trends, and system usage and effectiveness.
-Serve as an ambassador for the Talent Management Department, ensuring all communications and learning initiatives foster a positive employee experience by:
-Preparing training classrooms and materials for training events, projects, and stakeholder meetings
-Maintaining training supplies and placing orders, as needed
-Providing training communications and requests to various departments, employees, managers and leaders
-Supporting employees with navigating and utilizing the features and functionality of the intranet, KMS, and LMS
-Monitor and resolve learning system requests by routing and escalating cases to the appropriate case responders, while promptly and professionally addressing employee support requests and inquiries.
-Prepare, proofread, and edit internal communications, such as presentations, process flows, graphics, training guides, newsletters, articles, and
-Ensure compliance with data privacy, program governance, brand standards, and security
-Attend vendor meetings, training sessions, and internal system trainings
-Support new and ongoing departmental initiatives, programs, systems, and projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Diploma required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
2 years of facilitating experience
Banking & Financial Services is a huge plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00
