Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a client in Avon, IN. This role is ON-SITE 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

• Engage customers effectively by focusing on their core business needs and expectations.

• Provide pertinent order information, including new products, accessories, slow-moving items, and alternative solutions to drive revenue; as well as product details, training, pricing, and delivery specifics.

• Utilize reporting and analytical tools to oversee order requirements, collaborating with support teams to ensure prompt and accurate shipments.

• Prioritize tasks to meet customer deadlines.

• Document customer interactions and transactions in line with the organization’s retention policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams as needed to align with customer expectations.

• Make use of the organization’s relationship management systems to assist customers in meeting their business and customer demands.

• Handle invoice processing for payment at the assigned location.

• Carry out other related tasks as required or directed.

  Requirements

• Completion of a high school education or equivalent (required).

• Up to three years of relevant experience or training in customer service or a related field (preferred).

• Able to effectively convey information and address inquiries in individual or small group interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensures confidentiality and exercises careful judgment when handling business-related information.

• Skilled in reading and interpreting various documents such as policy handbooks, safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals.

• Capable of drafting basic reports and written communication.

• Tackles challenges that involve several known factors within typical situations.

• Handles some tasks with repetitive elements.

• Displays a strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring dependable outcomes.
