We are seeking an experienced Estimator for a construction company in Bakersfield, CA. This temp-to-hire role involves preparing accurate estimates for civil projects, focusing on grading, paving, cold planning, and signage.

Details:

• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
• Pay: $30-$35/hr (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead junior Estimators
• Prepare estimates for labor, equipment, and materials
• Review job specifications, drawings, and reports
• Coordinate take-offs and handle bid processes
• Negotiate scope and pricing with contractors and owners

Requirements:

• Estimating experience (concrete/asphalt preferred)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and computer skills (MS Office)
• Construction management experience
• Ability to work independently and manage bid processes
