Ambler Savings Bank Branch Manager II - Bally in Bally, Pennsylvania

A community bank headquartered in Ambler, Pennsylvania is seeking a Branch Manager II to work at our Bally Branch location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Seeking an experienced Branch Manager II responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of the branch office, including operations, product sales, customer service, supervision, scheduling, compliance, administrative duties, security and safety in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures.  Specific job duties are as follows:

  • Develops new deposit and loan business, implements growth plans and strategies to achieve sales, productivity, financial growth, customer service, and community goals in conjunction with Retail management. 
  • Provides a superior level of customer service and promotes the service and sales culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation. 
  • Provides leadership, training and supervision to the branch staff in the successful execution of defined branch goals.  Coach and counsel staff on effective sales techniques to develop new customer relationships and enhance and grow existing ones. 
  • Oversees the branch associates and is available and capable to assist with such duties, such as opening accounts and processing customer transactions.  Processes consumer and mortgage loan applications. 
  • Knowledgeable about all products and services offered by the Bank.  Partners across business lines to ensure a cohesive market plan to enhance cross-selling of Bank products and services to banking customers.

``` - Demonstrates the experience and ability to proactively grow the assigned location's market through consistent and focused out bound business development.  This includes developing and retaining existing business, identifying and developing new prospects and building a strong network of centers of influence.  Will maintain an active involvement in community groups either through participation and/or being involved at the Board or committee level. - Manage the Branch budget in accordance with company guidelines. - Recruit, hire, develop, coach and review performance with appropriate follow-up on all direct reports. - Analyzes, prepares, and completes all required daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. - Travel throughout the company footprint as required.

SKILLS:

The successful candidate will have the ability to clearly communicate in English; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; demonstrated experience performing key responsibilities; strong customer service skills; knowledge of current banking regulations and regulatory reporting requirements; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions; demonstrated business development skills with an ability to build and retain an effective team and develop, coach, and manage a staff; strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; demonstrated administrative and supervisory skills; visual and auditory skills; detail oriented, strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy.

EDUCATION / TRAINING:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required; some college education preferred; specialized bank education and training.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of four (4) years' experience in the financial services industry at a supervisory level, including experience as a Branch Manager.
