TEKsystems Desktop Support Technician in Baltimore, Maryland

Description

Our client is looking for someone to join their Desktop support team that is responsible for providing level 1 and 2 support to over 900 employees. They will providing both hands on support as well as remote to those employees that do not sit at their Baltimore Location. Being in a customer support role, you will have the opportunity to learn existing business processes and provide technology feedback and suggestions to the team. There will be opportunities to be proactive in support resolution by finding ways to enhance efficiency and quality of service to Brown's colleagues. This person will be responsible for common network connectivity (LAN, DNS, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) and remote access/Citrix issues, repair printing issues on clients and servers, and resolve common issues with mobile devices .

Top Skills' Details

1.) Experience with imaging solutions (restoration for both Windows and Mac OS)

2.) Ability to manage user accounts, groups, and OUs through Microsoft Active Directory

3.) Ability to be able to handle a high level of customer support and explain and resolve complex technical issues to a non-technical audience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00
