Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a File Clerk in the Housing Association industry located in Baltimore, Maryland. As a File Clerk, your main role will be assisting with the management and organization of critical paperwork, ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately sort and file documents in a timely manner

• Assist in maintaining a well-organized filing system

• Respond to and resolve inquiries related to document management

• Ensure the confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive paperwork

• Occasionally handle phone calls and provide assistance as required

• Support team members with additional administrative tasks when necessary

• Ensure all records are maintained and updated according to regulations

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

• Assist in the processing of customer applications when needed

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when required. Requirements • Familiarity with paper filing systems is essential.

• Possess excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• High school diploma or equivalent education level.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Ability to lift and carry files and documents up to 20lbs.

• Willingness to learn new software and systems relevant to the role.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures or job duties.
