We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director in Institutional Securities Fixed Income Operations who will be responsible for supporting the primary origination and secondary trading business lines through the daily and monthly execution of mortgage and corporate loan life cycle events.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Supervisor position at Director level within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Serve as the primary supervisor within specific line or project area with accountability to associated risks • Manage direct reports, leading 1:1s and career development, attracting and retaining high quality talent in line with our leadership commitments • Review resources to ensure adequate coverage to deliver BAU commitments, highlighting current and future needs to manager • Share expert knowledge across the team, contributing to team output and ensuring diverse viewpoints are heard • Managing Associates and Analysts who will be managing loan notices to Lenders/ Borrower who are part of loan syndication • Ensuring accurate and efficient review and approval of loan transactions, such as drawdowns, repayments, prepayments, interest payments, fees, etc. • Reviewing of legal documentation (e.g. credit agreements, fee letters) • Managing stakeholder interaction, both internal and external and managing client escalations with the team

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, adapt management style to suit individuals and ensure team is well supported with a sense of purpose • Prepared to challenge the status quo, raise concerns and/or needs of their team members • Ability to pitch communication appropriately according to the audience and demonstrate active listening skills • Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model • Ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines • Knowledge of loan markets, specifically performing and non performing across multiple strategies • Experience in Corporate Loan Operations • Able to meet tight deadlines, multiple initiatives and has an execution-focused approach • Must obtain Series 99 license if supervising a covered function • At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role • LoanIQ and ClearPar and WSO system knowledge helpful
