Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager in BALTIMORE, Maryland, United States. This role is primarily focused on supporting a financial reporting group, managing daily operations, and utilizing Microsoft Excel frequently. The position requires on-site presence.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the financial reporting team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively to facilitate reporting and tracking activities.
• Manage the team's schedule, facilitating efficient work processes and meeting timelines.
• Communicate effectively with the team, providing clear instructions and feedback.
• Handle sensitive financial documents with utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
• Deliver checks and cash to a nearby treasury as required.
• Transport important documents to the mayor's office, ensuring timely delivery.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and external parties. Requirements • Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional educational qualifications will be considered as a bonus.
• Prior experience in an office management role is necessary.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced office environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically.
• Skilled at maintaining a detail-oriented demeanor and providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with office management software like Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, specifically).
• Understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies.
• Experience handling confidential information and sensitive issues in a detail-oriented manner.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
