PURCHASING ASSOCIATE

Job Description:

The United Oil Company, Inc., a regional manufacturer and supplier of heavy duty lubricants since 1920, is seeking an inventory associate

to work at our location in E. Baltimore.

This associate will be primarily responsible for the purchasing of inventory and supplies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Company Purchases:

• Purchasing: Purchase inventory and supplies.
• Receiving: Enter inventory into the computer once it is received.
• Other Projects: Assist with other projects as needed.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• HS diploma
• 5 + years experience in inventory
• Attention to detail
• Ability to calculate discounts and percentages
• Ability to solve problems
• Oral, written and technical communication skills
• Organization
• Ability to follow-up on open issues
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
