Expected salary range of $94,500 to $105,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Key member of the Supply Business Operations and Technical Support Team managing sales of surplus assets, including but not limited to tools, obsolete inventory, rolling stock, power plant and electrical equipment, transformers and recyclable materials such as scrap metal. Seeks to secure the best revenue and/or minimization of expenses in disposition of assets. Assist in supporting large dismantlement projects to optimize recovery value of equipment and materials. Contributes to corporate safety and innovative thought leadership to drive sustainable results across Constellation’s Supply Chain in alignment with Constellation’s vision and goals.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Work directly with Business Partners to manage and support liquidation of surplus assets. Provide guidance concerning asset disposition strategies, technical options, and valuation estimates. Evaluate assets for marketability or most economical disposition, appraise assets and establish pricing, analyze markets for pricing trends and emerging opportunities.
Negotiate Investment Recovery transactions to maximize return on investment and minimize expenses. Execute invoice, sales agreements, and payment remittance for settlement of proceeds and related accounting processes. Assure integrity of financial transactions and compliance with policy and governance requirements.
Leverage strong relationship building and communication skills to proactively partner with Business Partners to identify key Investment Recovery opportunities. Build and maintain a strong relationship with internal and external customers, providing timely responses and issue resolution.
Contribute to monthly and annual reporting of Investment Recovery outcomes and metrics. Ensure that reporting is accurate, and that the data and data visualization provides actionable insights to the end users. Establish annual Investment Recovery forecast and other reports requested by our Business Partners.
Participate on cross functional and cross business unit project teams in support of changes to business processes using existing and new technologies and/or systems. Identify and support continuous improvement and innovative initiatives across Supply Chain, such as automation opportunities or other areas as identified by leadership to improve efficiency and effectiveness, drive savings and ensure strategic focus of category management.
Coordinate asset disposition strategy development in collaboration with sourcing, business unit, and category teams leveraging supply chain expertise and business acumen.
Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with five (5) years experience or High school diploma or equivalent, with nine (9) years of experience.
Strong PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, Hyperion).
Strong communicator, written and oral, with strengths in organization and planning.
Knowledge and experience with ERP systems specifically as they apply to the integration of supply management with work mgmt.
Working knowledge of the Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of Passport (Purchasing, Contracts, and Action Tracking); and eSourcing tool.
