We are looking for dedicated Software professional to Lead technology focused, forward looking, innovative Software Engineering Team for Wi-Fi Access Point Product development in India.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing talented team delivering WiFi features and functions supporting evolving WiFi standards to meet ever growing customer needs for high performance, low latency and guaranteed service.

• Working with chip vendor for the innovations, SDK enhancements, integration and multi-platform and multi standards support.

• Working with product management team for feature roadmap

• Working with cross functional team for project deliverables, dependencies, milestones and product/feature optimizations.

• Working with different product engineering teams for feature dependencies and competitive solutions

• Managing and guiding the team of talented engineers and mangers to deliver innovative features with carrier grade quality

• Participate in technical reviews, architecture discussion and guiding the team to adopt best solutions

• Keeping customer focus, and working with system/field engineers and product management team to address customer needs

• Being good technical anchor point for the team

• Identifying and Hiring talented engineers

• Focus on continuous improvement in:

• Product capability, stability and serviceability

• Feature velocity with high quality

• Reducing waste and lead time, improve productivity.

• Team work, team capability and skills

Qualifications :

BTech/MTech or Ph.D. in Networking or Wireless fields.

• Prefer 16+ years of experience in embedded software development.

• Must have strong WiFi AP product knowledge with good understanding of WiFi standards.

• Must have good knowledge of WiFi AP architecture, design and system knowledge and experience in guiding the team for architecture and design changes.

• Must have good understanding of chip vendor SDK and high level architecture with experience driving the SDK integration across different platforms.

• Must have good understanding of embedded systems, kernel and device drivers

• Should be able to work in a fast paced environment.

• Should be good mentor, capable building strong technical team focused on innovation

• Must be eager to drive and push the boundaries of technology to achieve best in class solution
