Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals.

We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in OpenShift, Linux operating systems, and scripting. A good working knowledge of Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB is also required. You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and ensuring the high availability of the IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising platform to support our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage the IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising platform, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.

• Deploy and maintain applications on OpenShift to support the Sterling Intelligent Promising environment.

• Develop and maintain scripts for automating administrative tasks and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Manage data storage and integration using Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB to optimize data flow within the platform.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless integration of the Sterling platform with other systems.

Required technical and professional expertise

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Administrator.

• Good knowledge of OpenShift and containerization technologies.

• Good understanding of Linux operating systems and proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Shell).

• Good working knowledge of Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB for data management and processing.

• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting techniques for distributed systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Understanding of microservices architecture and best practices for deploying distributed systems.

• Experience with supply chain or order management systems is a plus.
