The Role
As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. Do you want to be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions? Within our Network Services team at Kyndryl, you will be the go-to expert for providing top-of-the-line technical solutions throughout the entire solution lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating local and wide-area network solutions that utilize multiple platforms and protocols, ensuring that our customers have the best possible network infrastructure to support their business needs. Your skills in routers, networking controllers, bridges, and networking software will be essential as you troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors to install the latest hardware and software, such as routers and switches. Not only will you help keep our customer’s networks running smoothly, but you will also work on project implementation, conduct project planning and cost analysis, and build proof-of-concept solutions with networking system technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to review project requirements, communicate them accurately to the team, and ensure they are appropriately fulfilled. You will use your expertise to design and implement local and wide-area network solutions, including IP and VOIP, that address customer requirements. You will also provide high-quality technical solutions to our customers to prepare them for implementation, go-live, and maintenance.
Implement and manage branch side Switch - VLANs, VTP, and trunking, Ensure network availability, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot branch WAN issues using tools like ping, traceroute, and SNMP.
Provide L1 support for branch networks, resolving hardware and software issues for Network devices.
Ensure branch network devices are compliant with customer security policies.
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues.
Identify and resolve network-related issues using logical troubleshooting methodologies.
Analyse network logs, packet captures, and performance metrics, Escalate complex issues to senior engineers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Monitoring of Network links and devices like Router, Switches
Good Understanding of Routing and Switching technology
Troubleshoot skill for Medium Complexity incidents.
Configuring routers and switches.
Identifies problems and errors prior to or when they occur and provide the resolution.
Enterprise network maintenance
Individual should be minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in a 24/7 banking & finance Data Centre environment.
Production experience deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and operational maintenance of large-scale Router, Switch deployments.
Hands on experience – Hardware Module, Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting for the following listed Routers and Switches
: ASR 1000,1002,1006, Cisco ISR 4451 2900, 1900 and Juniper MX series
: Nexus 93180 and 93108 ,9508,7010, 9300, 3850, 2960XR, Juniper QFX and EX series.
Experience in configuration & troubleshooting of CE1 links and backup technologies for remote locations i.e. VSAT, RF & 3G and 4G connectivity.
Sound knowledge of MPLS deployment, configuration and troubleshooting for Large Enterprise Network.
Sound knowledge of IPSec VPN (IKEv1 and v2), GetVPN and GRE tunnel configuration and troubleshooting for Large Enterprise Network.
Sound knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP routing protocol implementation configuration and troubleshooting for Large Enterprise Network.
Sound knowledge of VPC, EtherChannel, STP, redundancy protocols, Trunking protocols, configuration and troubleshooting of various switching loops.
Working knowledge in SD WAN.
Working knowledge on how BSNL/MTNL/Airtel/JIO/Sify/TCL infrastructure works for their customers’ WAN links.
Experience with high availability protocols such as HSRP, VRRP, etc.
Experience in working with Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint Firewall, FortiGate firewall and NAT policies (1000+ rules)
Knowledge about implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting of Aruba Clear-pass Tacacs/Radius technologies.
Knowledge of Cisco EXE/IOS/NXOS secure configuration and knowledge of security vulnerabilities, threats, and attacks mitigation.
Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and data center experience
Experience with design and implementing Software Defined Network (SDN) and large complex networks
Experience with protocols and technologies such as, BDP, OSPF, MP-FBP EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC,Mandatory Technical Certification: any one of the followingCCNA/CCNP/JNCIA /JNCIP /Other Industry leading OEM Professional level Certification related to Routing and Switching.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
•Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and data center experience
•Experience with design and implementing Software Defined Network (SDN) and large complex networks
•Experience with protocols and technologies such as, BDP, OSPF, MP-FBP EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC,
