Senior Internal Auditor

Rubrik is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in Bangalore, India. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, evaluating internal controls, and partnering with process owners to drive remediation efforts. This role will be part of our global Internal Audit team, supporting our headquarters in Palo Alto, and requires flexibility to work collaboratively across time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with execution of SOX program, including testing and validation of internal controls and preparing and maintaining work-papers

• Coordinate and participate in process walkthroughs to ensure adequate identification and design of key controls

• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls

• Collaborate with process owners to identify control gaps and develop remediation plans

• Provide guidance and training to process owners on internal control best practices

• Support cross-functional teams to ensure effective design and implementation of internal controls

• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in internal audit or public accounting

• Strong knowledge of SOX requirements, internal controls, and accounting practices

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Chartered Accountant / CPA, CIA, or equivalent certification preferred

• We are seeking a candidate who is versatile and adaptable, with proficiency in working cross functionally and a strong desire to learn and master new skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and concisely

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

• Experience with Auditboard preferred

• Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate global team collaboration, including US Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours
