Electrical Engineer My Client in Akron, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineer, with a Professional Engineer license, to support retrofit projects for industrial and utility customers. This position can be located in our Marlborough, MA, Kansas City MO, or Spartanburg, SC offices. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide proposal and execution support for projects to include design & supply of electrical scope including power, control & wiring. Review client specifications for our industrial and utility customers. Participate in site scoping trips to develop/finalize cable routing and material take offs. Estimate and design electrical interconnections between field devices, such as transmitters, valves, motors, for power and controls. Monitor the work product of outsourced electrical engineering services to include schedule, budget, and deliverables. Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional engineering License is a must Ten (10)+ years' experience in electrical & control systems design, commissioning & application in an industrial plant environment. Experience with electrical codes and standards. Ten percent domestic travel with occasional international travel to support project requirements.
