Hormel Foods Jennie-O Turkey Store - 2nd Shift Machine Operator - Barron, WI in Barron, Wisconsin

Job Responsibilities

  1. Work on production lines, and running machines processing various products

  2. Help maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules

  3. Help ensure only safe, wholesome, quality products are produced for our customers by following all good manufacturing practices

  4. Must be able to read, write and speak English

  5. Perform any and all other duties assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

  • Work 8-12 hour shifts

  • Stand on concrete floor for extended periods of time

  • Work in temperatures ranging from 32-40 degrees

  • Perform repetitive motions like twisting, turning, bending and reaching

  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Must wear a hair net, hard hat, ear muffs, safety glasses, steel toe boots, and/or other personal protective equipment as required by position

  • Work with large groups of people as a team or be able to work alone with little supervision

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hiring pay range for this role is $21.15, 6 months $21.51, 1 year $22.16 per hour.
