Develop and deploy applications in traditional tiered architecture and microservices architecture. Process requests in near realtime though Kafka based event streaming messaging system. Monitor application performance using CloudWatch and create alerts for proactive issue detection. Utilize database and tools for querying and analyzing data across schemas. Created batch jobs for processing large data sets. Configure security on end points to grant access to authorized users. Use Agile methodologies for programming and development. Integrate applications for test case management. Troubleshot and monitored performance. Provide production support and root cause analysis for resolving application issues.Minimum Requirements: Degree in computer/engineering related. MS (2YRS) or BS (5YRS) of software development experience. Position requires expertise in advanced database systems & security, software testing, algorithms, data structures & agile methodologies. Technical skills in CloudWatch, Kafka, RESTful webservices, Spring, MVC, Spring batch & JPA. Travel/Relocation to various client locations or Ascendion’s offices within the United States. The frequency of travel/relocation will depend on project timeliness and deliverables.
