Description

Robert Half is seeking a Billing Clerk for our client based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role resides within the industry and involves tasks related to processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be expected to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. This is a short-term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process bills or invoices for services rendered with accuracy and efficiency

• Evaluate billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring any missing or incorrect data is addressed promptly

• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency

• Collaborate closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency

• Utilize various software systems including Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Computerized Billing, EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software for data entry while maintaining data integrity and accuracy

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties, ensuring all accounting functions are performed accurately

• Respond to and manage inbound customer inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained

• Use 'About Time' software for efficient time management and workflow coordination

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in Computerized Billing

• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM

• Knowledge of Epic Software

• Ability to use About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Comfortable with Answering Inbound Calls
