Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Supports the production team as the mechanical expert in a millwright type of responsibility. Ensures production and support equipment are functioning properly. Performs preventative maintenance procedures on motors, conveyor systems, filling equipment, and other industrial machinery or facilities needs. Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment to make repairs or adjustments as needed. Performs some basic electrical duties (replaces motors, switches, PE, etc.) but will have an industrial electrician or PLC programmer to assist on complex situations. Performs package changeovers on lines as required. Supports the team on all aspects of the operation. Trains team members on mechanical processes. Focuses on continuous improvement. Maintains a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards.

Hard Skills

• Mechanical expertise in millwright responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, filling equipment, and other machinery

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment

• Basic electrical duties (replacing motors, switches, PE, etc.)

• Performing package changeovers

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
