Work Schedule
Courses are typically scheduled between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 pm Monday-Friday; however, evening and weekend classes may be scheduled. Exact schedule will vary based on semester, program, course, and other considerations.
Position Summary
This position provides instructional support (development and/or delivery) for Computerized Drafting & Design (CADD) and Engineering Technology (ENTE) courses. Adjunct faculty in this pool will work with dual-enrolled high school students and/or adult learners who are enrolled in CADD or Engineering Technology courses. Available teaching positions are in Albion, located at the Eastern Academic Center.

Physical Demands
The job responsibilities are performed in an office area and presentation venues. Travel by car required. The job has intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward (8 - 45 pounds). Typically requires regular use of one or more physical senses of medium intensity and long duration. Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy, and, may be involved in some mildly unpleasant situations.
Minimum Qualifications
• An Associate Degree, OR significant current or recent progressive work experience, PLUS current and relevant industry certifications. • Minimum two (2) years full-time equivalent current or recent work experience in the field/subject area. Recent is defined as within the past 4 years. • SolidWorks CSWA & CSWP Certifications • Must be a resident of Michigan or Indiana
Preferred but not Required
• Extensive and demonstrated work experience that culminates in subject matter expertise in subject/discipline field. • Relevant and current third-party, industry-recognized credentials or certification in subject/field. • Successful experience in teaching, classroom management, or corporate training. • Experience developing training outlines, course content, and learning exercises. • Familiarity with higher education and/or a college environment. • Experience working with diverse populations with varying backgrounds, academic skills, and personal competencies.
Proposed Salary
According to the current Board-approved adjunct faculty rates.
