Description

I am seeking a dynamic and strategic Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, building out compliance programs, and enhancing the maturity of processes and disciplines related to technology infrastructure. This position requires a candidate with a strong infrastructure background, an innovative mindset, and the ability to collaborate across IT and business functions to deliver measurable value.

You will play a key role in developing cleaner and more efficient processes, identifying patterns in requests, and recommending strategic improvements. Your insights will help standardize risk-based operations while improving efficiency, scalability, and alignment with core business goals. This will be 3 days onsite in Washington County, MN.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various technologies

• Support the development and growth of a mature risk and compliance program while fostering awareness across the organization.

• Collaborate with IT teams to align security and compliance objectives with business needs.

• Streamline and enhance workflows by identifying recurring patterns and inefficiencies.

• Implement processes designed to reduce operational time and improve productivity.

• Build cleaner, more standardized workflows that bring measurable improvements in efficiency and quality.

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to advise teams on compliance, cloud deployments, proof of concepts, and data solutions.

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to generate ideas for program improvements and discipline optimization.

• Translate technical challenges into actionable solutions that deliver business value and can be easily communicated to non-technical teams.

• Proactively identify areas of improvement across IT and compliance practices while supporting the organization's goals to increase efficiency and scalability.

• Leverage insights to develop processes that align with strategic objectives and ensure continued program maturity.

Requirements

• Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience.

• Strong background in technology infrastructure, with expertise in network security, desktop security, and cloud technologies.

• Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments and driving compliance initiatives.

• Previous involvement in process optimization or designing scalable workflows.

• Skills:

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.

• Ability to identify patterns and recommend actionable solutions to address inefficiencies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to diverse stakeholders effectively.

• Proven ability to balance technical focus with business-oriented thinking to drive process value delivery.
