Step into the role as the Assistant Factory Manager and become a key player in driving high performance and achieving our business goals. You'll work hand-in-hand with the Factory Manager, using your exceptional problem-solving skills to tackle operational challenges head-on and ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic operational oversight, guiding the factory team to achieve safety, quality, cost, and service level goals.

  • Ensure strict adherence to company principles, policies, local laws, and regulations, including health, food safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Analyze production data and leverage insights to optimize factory operations and drive efficiency.

  • Mentor and develop the factory management team and staff, focusing on performance management, career development, and succession planning.

  • Foster a People First approach to create a supportive and engaging work environment, prioritizing positive employee and labor relations.

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with the surrounding community, enhancing engagement through the Corporate Community Affairs group.

  • Implement Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the factory.

Experience & Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred, particularly in a technical field, or significant relevant production or manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience within production or manufacturing operations.

  • At least 3 years of experience with factory operations budget management.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suites, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP systems preferred.

  • Excellent data analysis and analytical skills required.

  • Proven experience in KPI management.

  • Strong emphasis on safety and quality orientation.

  • Preferred experience with Total Performance Management (TPM) or Lean Management Principles.

  • Experience in establishing solid foundations, particularly in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

  • Proficient in driving change and facilitating the transition to more efficient methods.

  • Skilled in influencing and coaching team members, providing different perspectives, and explaining the rationale behind change.

  • Strong relationship-building abilities, with a deep understanding of organizational culture and the ability to bridge gaps.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives within tight deadlines.

The approximate pay range for this position is $135,000.00 to $155,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
