Job Title: Tool & Die Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in tool and die repair, as well as the ability to interpret blueprints and perform various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints.

• Utilize an overhead crane to move dies throughout the die maintenance work area and into machines.

• Polish and grind dies as needed.

• Perform MIG & TIG welding on dies.

• Wire limit switches.

• Disassemble and reassemble dies to specifications.

• Operate mills and lathes to fabricate items as needed.

• Operate mills and lathes within tight tolerances.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on dies.

Essential Skills

• Tool & die repair experience.

• MIG & TIG welding on dies.

• Experience using mills and lathes within tight tolerances.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with surface grinding and die maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a tooling/die maintenance role, with a preference for candidates with 5+ years of experience.

• Progressive stamping experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Our facility is a temperature-controlled, with a small team atmosphere across 1st and 2nd shifts. The dress code includes company-provided shirts, jeans, and steel-toed boots. This position is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, with occasional overtime required. We are a family-oriented company that values a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
