Generac Power Systems Recruiter II - Bilingual in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

The Recruiter II leverages the internet to source and identify talent and be able to uncover top talent through cold calling. While working with the hiring managers, this position will define the requirements for the job and develop a recruitment strategy. This role will drive hiring decisions as well as be directly involved in the creation and negotiation of offers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing or related field OR 4 years of experience in a similar working environment;

  • 2-5 years of progressive work experience in full-cycle recruitment.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to see the recruiting function from candidate, hiring manager, Human Resource Business Partner, and business leader perspectives;

  • Demonstrated abilities with a proven track record in sourcing active and passive candidates;

  • Demonstrated flexibility and aptitude working with numerous types of business fields and personalities;

  • Proven experience in a metrics-oriented environment, which tracks individual recruitment goals supporting strategic initiatives;

  • Proven track record working within a fast-paced, growing and dynamic environment;

  • Professional depth and experience necessary to deal with shifting priorities and moving deadlines

  • Ability to successfully manage positions from entry-level to director-level, providing excellent candidate and hiring manager care;

  • A holistic attitude towards process design and recruitment workflow in conjunction with Human Resource Business Partners and hiring managers;

  • As an individual contributor, the ability to lead, mentor and effectively partner with teams to achieve performance goals;

  • Ability to make sound business decisions with proficiency in attaining the right talent for the business;

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility at all levels and the ability and desire to embrace change as well as the ability to lead others through the change process;

  • Possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal communication skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining detail orientation, critical thought process, and collaboration;

  • Ability to influence across the organization as an individual contributor;

  • Advanced analytical and project management skills;

  • Highly organized and detail oriented;

  • Strong communication and presentation skills;

  • Ability to present and promote career opportunities to a public audience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support through value-added approaches with regards to workforce planning and acquisition, and operational efficiency.

  • Act as an informal mentor; teach techniques and strategies of recruiting to recruiters and recruiting coordinator.

  • In alignment with business goals and leadership, aid in developing effective solutions to address skills gaps and culture integration.

  • Actively participate and network with associations, social networks, and sales/marketing groups to build a network of candidates on an on-going basis.

  • Provide the assigned business team with coaching on recruitment best practices.

  • Identify, schedule, and represent the company at local and state community events to promote careers in manufacturing.

  • “Own” the talent pipeline for assigned areas and serve as the subject matter expert.

  • Act as an ambassador for the business and functional partners.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
