Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. These positions primarily cover off shifts, with 1st Shift running from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, 2nd Shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, and 3rd Shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am. Technicians will work mandatory every other weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday), with voluntary overtime during the week. This role involves maintaining and repairing highly automated equipment in a large facility, requiring frequent use of laptops and communication devices.

Responsibilities

• Engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production.

• Provide technical assistance to operators and other departments regarding automated systems.

• Perform routine maintenance checks, identify and troubleshoot malfunctions on automated machinery and processes.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment including mechanical and electrical components and systems.

• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production equipment.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, completed repairs, equipment issues, and replacement part usage.

• Install new and automated systems and equipment, including wiring, configuring controllers, and setting up sensors.

• Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency.

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper operation of production equipment.

• Conduct daily checks of production equipment during up and downtime.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of machine repair experience on industrial equipment.

• Strong experience repairing pneumatic systems.

• Understanding of electrical systems, mechanical principles, pneumatic and computer control systems.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve simple to complex technical issues within automated systems.

• Familiarity with mechanical components, including servo motors, actuators, AC motors sensors, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting.

• Experience with preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.

Work Environment

The facility is enormous and requires extensive walking from building to building and from one end of the plant to another. One department is a dry room, necessitating the use of garb and beard nets if applicable. The environment is meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and very brightly lit. The company is highly committed to 5S3K standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $77792.00/yr.

Offers 100% company paid health insurance premiums for full-time employees and their eligible dependents. This means that no funds are deducted from an employees’ paycheck for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Benefits start the first of the month from when you start. Company provides $110 per week for employees to pay for babysitting services through a user-friendly app.
