Position Summary

 

The Executive Assistant reports to the Director of Operations and Executive Support in the Provost's Office and provides essential support to ensure the smooth functioning of Bellevue College's Provost's Office and the Division of Academic Affairs. This role is responsible for handling a wide variety of administrative tasks, such as managing a complex calendar of appointments, preparing correspondence (including sensitive and confidential communications), coordinating detailed travel arrangements, and compiling necessary documents for meeting- and travel-related engagements.

 

In addition to daily operations, the Executive Assistant plays a critical role in planning and coordinating events, meetings, and retreats for the division. This involves everything from selecting and reserving venues to organizing guest speakers and catering services. Acting as a trusted liaison, the Executive Assistant manages communication with faculty, students, staff, and the public, maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion with sensitive information. This position is central in resolving inquiries, addressing complaints, and -managing a tracking protocol to identify recurring issues, ensuring alignment with college policies and procedures. This individual also oversees document management and storage systems, processes requisitions and contracts, and manages Division websites and SharePoint content, ensuring that information is accessible, organized, and up-to-date. With a strong focus on organization, communication, and confidentiality, this role is indispensable in facilitating the administrative needs of the Provost's Office and the Division of Academic Affairs.

 

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

 

Position Salary Range: $70,037/year - $98,052/year

 

The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Typically, new hires start no higher than $77,041/year based on Bellevue College Exempt salary schedule.
